Blandford Leisure Centre, Milldown Road, Blandford (455 566) has a swimming pool and facilities for other sports and activities.
There is a regular service (No 20) to Blandford (for Dorchester) and to Salisbury. Dorset community bus services (Plusbus service by ectcharity http://ectcharity.co.uk/services/areas/dorset/plusbus#view ) also run a weekly bus to Salisbury on Tuesdays at 09.45 am and returns leaving Salisbury at 1.30 pm; on Thursdays to Blandford and Mondays to Wimborne. The general store/shop is in Pimperne which is also a post office and has newspapers. There is a farm shop in Tarrant Gunville open every day except Monday. Blandford has larger shops, stores and a street market on Thursday and Saturday.
